Slow Cooker Mississippi Pot Roast
This is truly the only pot roast recipe you'll ever need. It has fabulous flavor, it's incredibly tender, and it's perfectly moist!

Ingredients

beef chuck roast

stick
butter

pepperoncini peppers

Ranch dressing mix

Au Jus gravy mix
Instructions
In a heavy bottomed pot, sear all sides of the roast. After a thin crust has formed, place roast into the slow cooker.
Pour the Ranch dressing mix and the Au Jus gravy mix over the roast.
Place the stick of butter on top of the seasonings. As the mixture cooks, the butter will melt into the seasonings creating a gravy for the meat.
Place at least 5 peppers around the roast, or more if you prefer extra spicy.
Slow cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
Notes
Helpful Tip:
If using a slightly smaller roast, the ingredient measurements will remain the same.
